Virtual reality job training meets mind control techniques to fight recidivism
NCT ID NCT05966831
Summary
This study tested whether combining mental self-control training with virtual reality job interview practice helps formerly incarcerated people. Researchers compared two groups: one received both trainings, while the other received job training plus a different activity. They measured changes in self-control, impulsiveness, and whether participants found jobs or returned to prison.
