Summary
This study looked at whether teaching women to be kinder to themselves about their bodies works better than traditional dieting for reducing body dissatisfaction and disordered eating. About 194 women who felt unhappy with their bodies took part. The goal was to see if a self-compassion approach could help them feel better without the downsides of restrictive dieting.
