Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app could help cancer survivors manage emotional distress and improve their mental well-being. Researchers enrolled 28 adults who had finished cancer treatment but were still struggling with low mood. Participants used the app for six weeks, and researchers measured changes in their self-compassion, self-criticism, and overall mood.
