First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests a newer sedation drug, remimazolam, against the standard drug propofol for people having an endoscopy (a tube camera exam of the digestive tract). The goal is to see which drug works better and is safer, focusing on patient comfort and recovery. About 100 adults will take part, and the results will help improve sedation practices for this common procedure.
