NCT ID NCT07267377
First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at 120 women having minor gynecologic surgery to see how different sedation drugs affect thinking skills right after the procedure. Patients received one of three drug combinations: propofol-fentanyl, ketamine-fentanyl, or a mix of all three. The main goal was to measure changes in a thinking test (MMSE) before and after surgery. The results will help doctors choose the best sedation for quick mental recovery.
