First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks for a type of heart disease called cardiac amyloidosis in people who had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands between 2010 and 2015. Participants must be 55 or older at the time of surgery. They will get a special heart scan to check for abnormal protein buildup. The goal is to catch the disease early, when treatments can work better.
