Zapping away chemo pain: new therapy trial for young survivors

NCT ID NCT05357469

Summary

This study is testing a non-drug treatment called Scrambler Therapy to see if it can safely reduce pain and improve daily life for young cancer survivors (ages 15-39) who have nerve damage from chemotherapy. Participants are randomly assigned to receive the therapy right away or after a 4-week wait, and their pain levels, physical function, and quality of life are tracked for 3 months. The therapy uses gentle electrical currents applied to the skin to try to 'scramble' pain signals.
