Summary
This study tested a drug called SCP776 in 120 people having emergency surgery to remove a blood clot from the brain after a stroke. The goal was to see if the drug is safe and helps protect brain cells from damage. Participants received either the drug or a placebo, and researchers monitored side effects and recovery.
