NCT ID NCT07579351
First seen May 25, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026
Summary
This study tests an experimental shot called SP-102 for people with moderate to severe sciatica (leg pain from the lower back). About 755 adults will receive one injection of SP-102, a placebo, or a standard steroid. The goal is to see if SP-102 reduces pain better than placebo and how it compares to usual care. Participants may also get a second open-label SP-102 shot after four weeks.
