New therapy aims to ease mental health struggles after spinal cord injury

Summary

This study looks at whether a type of talk therapy called Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (FACT) can help people with spinal cord injury feel better emotionally and improve their quality of life. About 8 patients in the hospital for rehab will try the therapy and fill out questionnaires. The goal is to see if FACT is a good option for supporting mental health soon after injury.
