New therapy aims to ease mental health struggles after spinal cord injury

Summary

This study looks at whether a type of talk therapy called Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (FACT) can help people with a spinal cord injury feel better mentally and improve their quality of life. About 8 people recovering in the hospital will try FACT and fill out questionnaires before, during, and after therapy. The goal is to see if FACT is a helpful and practical option for this group.
