New school program shows promise for helping autistic teens succeed

Summary
This study tested a school program called Unstuck & On Target High School, designed to help autistic teenagers improve their planning skills and mental flexibility. School staff delivered 25 weekly lessons to 178 students, with support from parents at home. Researchers measured changes in classroom behavior and daily living skills to see if the program helped teens function better at school and in everyday life.
