Summary
This study tested whether having a dietitian teach nutrition in school can improve what kids know and how they eat. 67 fourth-graders in Türkiye took part, with some getting eight weeks of nutrition classes and their parents getting four weeks of lessons. The study measured changes in nutrition knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors, as well as weight and waist size. The goal was to see if this model could help shape future school health programs.
