First seen Feb 11, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests a stepped care model to reduce depressive symptoms in 600 adolescents aged 13-15 in 40 schools in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. The first step is a universal intervention delivered by non-specialists; teens who don't improve get a CBT-based self-help app. The goal is to find which interventions work best to ease depression in school settings.
