New drug aims to keep schizophrenia at bay

Summary
This study is testing whether an investigational drug called NBI-1117568 can help prevent schizophrenia symptoms from coming back in adults whose symptoms are currently stable. The trial will involve about 560 adults with schizophrenia who have responded well to initial treatment. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the study drug or a placebo to see which group stays symptom-free longer.
