New hope for keeping schizophrenia at bay

Summary
This study is testing an investigational medicine, NBI-1117568, to see if it can help prevent the return of schizophrenia symptoms in adults whose condition is currently stable. About 560 participants will first take the study drug openly. Those who respond well will then be randomly assigned to either continue the drug or switch to a placebo to see which group stays stable longer. The main goal is to measure how long it takes for symptoms to relapse.
