Summary
This study looks at how a specific brain chemical pathway (tryptophan-kynurenine) may cause thinking and memory problems in people with schizophrenia. Researchers will measure blood markers and cognitive function in 200 participants, including healthy volunteers. The goal is to create models for early detection and find new treatment targets, not to test a therapy.
