New radiation method targets tough pancreatic tumors

Summary
This early-phase study tests a new type of radiation therapy called SCART for people with locally advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. The goal is to find the highest safe dose that can be given to the tumor while protecting nearby organs. About 24 adults aged 18 to 70 with good overall health will take part. The study is currently suspended.
