New radiation boost aims to zap prostate cancer without needles

Summary

This study tests whether a short, focused radiation treatment called SBRT can safely boost the effectiveness of standard radiation for prostate cancer, without using needles. About 150 men with unfavorable localized prostate cancer will receive this boost. Researchers will track cancer control, side effects, and quality of life over time.
