Summary

This study tested a smart oxygen machine that automatically adjusts oxygen levels for hospitalized patients with serious injuries or illnesses. The goal was to keep oxygen in a safe range (90-96%) for the first 72 hours. 300 adults took part to see if the machine worked better than manual adjustments by nurses or doctors.
