New drug duo tested against rare, tough cancers
NCT ID NCT02406781
Summary
This study tested whether combining an immunotherapy drug (MK3475) with a low-dose chemotherapy (cyclophosphamide) could help control advanced sarcomas. It involved 129 adults whose cancer had progressed despite prior treatments. The main goal was to see if the combination could shrink tumors or stop them from growing for at least six months.
