New combo attack on rare, Tough-to-Treat abdominal cancer

NCT ID NCT06025747

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety and best dose of a drug called abemaciclib when given with radiation therapy before surgery. The goal is to shrink tumors in patients with a high-risk type of abdominal sarcoma, making them easier to remove. Researchers will enroll about 18 adults to see how well the combination is tolerated and if it helps control the cancer.
