First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looked at how safe and effective the SAPIEN 3 heart valve is for Chinese patients with severe aortic stenosis (a narrowed heart valve) who are too high-risk for open-heart surgery. Fifty-eight patients received the valve through a less invasive procedure called TAVI. The main goal was to see how many patients survived, regardless of cause.
