New radiation approach may offer better control for returning prostate cancer

Summary
This study tests whether a highly focused type of radiation (SBRT) can better manage prostate cancer that returns after the prostate is removed, compared to usual treatments. About 284 men with a rising PSA after surgery will be randomly assigned to receive SBRT or standard care. The goal is to see if SBRT reduces bowel and urinary side effects while still controlling the cancer.
