Simple salt water soaks may ease radiation burns for cancer patients

Summary
This study tests whether soaking the skin with salt water (saline) once a day can reduce severe skin rashes caused by radiation therapy. About 150 adults with head and neck cancer or sarcomas will either get standard care or standard care plus daily saline soaks. The goal is to see if this simple, low-cost method helps skin heal faster and prevents treatment delays.
