First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tested a new injectable medicine called SAL003, given together with a common statin pill (atorvastatin), in 214 adults with high cholesterol or mixed dyslipidemia. The goal was to see if the combination could safely lower 'bad' LDL cholesterol more than the statin alone. Participants received either SAL003 or a placebo injection every few weeks for 24 weeks.
