Summary
This study tested a new injectable medicine called SAL003, given together with the common cholesterol pill atorvastatin, in 214 adults with high cholesterol or mixed dyslipidemia. The goal was to see if the combination could safely lower bad LDL cholesterol more than atorvastatin alone. Participants received either SAL003 or a placebo shot every few weeks for 24 weeks.
