First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study examined whether the way a child's upper and lower jaw line up (called sagittal skeletal malocclusion) affects their sleep quality. Researchers studied 164 children aged 7 to 13 who had no other mouth or breathing problems. They measured sleep using a parent questionnaire and compared children with different jaw types. The goal was to see if jaw alignment alone can impact how well children sleep.
