New chemo cocktail shows promise for tough stomach cancers

Summary
This study tests a combination of chemotherapy drugs (sFOLFOXIRI) in 38 people with advanced stomach, esophagus, or gastroesophageal junction cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. The goal is to see if this treatment can shrink tumors and help people live longer. Participants must not have had prior chemotherapy for their advanced cancer.
