Experimental combo therapy targets tough leukemia

NCT ID NCT05507827

First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This early-stage trial tests whether adding specially engineered donor immune cells (CAR T cells) to a stem cell transplant is safe for adults with a high-risk type of leukemia called B-cell ALL. About 22 participants will receive a strong chemotherapy conditioning, a special stem cell product (Orca-T), and then the donor CAR T cells. The goal is to see if this approach can help prevent the cancer from coming back without causing severe side effects like graft-versus-host disease.
