Summary

This early-stage study tested the safety of a single dose of an experimental drug called EV68-228-N in 36 healthy adults aged 18 to 49. Participants received either the drug or a placebo by IV, and were monitored for side effects for up to 29 days. The goal was not to treat illness, but to gather safety information needed before testing the drug in people with enterovirus infection.
