Summary

This early-stage trial tested the safety and how the body handles multiple doses of an experimental drug called BI 425809 in 96 healthy young and elderly volunteers. Participants took the drug or a placebo daily for 12 days, and some also compared morning versus evening dosing. The study was not designed to treat any disease, but to gather essential safety and dosing information for future research.
