Summary
This early-stage study tested a new medicine called BI 3006337 in 64 adults who are overweight or have obesity and also have fatty liver disease. The main goal was to see if different doses of the weekly injection are safe and tolerable. Participants received either the drug or a placebo for about 4 months, with frequent check-ups to monitor side effects.
