First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks back at the medical records of 500 people who had surgery on major arteries (not heart surgery). The goal is to see if taking blood thinners (antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs) around the time of surgery affects the risk of bleeding or blood clots. Researchers will compare those who took these drugs with those who did not.
