First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether a new combination of sedative and painkiller (anricofen plus ciprofol) can provide safer deep sedation for elderly patients (ages 60–90) undergoing a bile duct procedure called ERCP. The goal is to reduce breathing problems and side effects like nausea, while helping patients wake up faster. 141 participants will be randomly assigned to one of two doses of the new combo or the standard approach, and researchers will compare pain control and safety.
