Bar staff training may curb sexual assaults, study says

Summary

This study tests whether a training program called Safe Bars can reduce sexual violence in bars and similar venues. About 3,180 staff and patrons will be surveyed over a year to see if the training helps staff intervene in risky situations and lowers rates of assault and harassment. The goal is to find out if this approach makes venues safer.
