New hope for rare kidney cancer: drug trial targets tough tumors

Summary

This study tests a drug called sacituzumab tirumotecan in 20 people with a rare and aggressive kidney cancer (SMARCB1-deficient renal medullary carcinoma) that has worsened after at least one prior treatment. The goal is to see if the drug can shrink or control the cancer. Researchers will also monitor side effects.
