Promising drug targets Hard-to-Treat breast cancer in Early-Stage trial

Summary

This study tests whether the drug Sacituzumab govitecan can slow down advanced triple-negative breast cancer when used as the first treatment. About 24 adults who have not had prior treatment for advanced disease will receive the drug on days 1 and 8 of each 21-day cycle. Researchers will also check if the drug works better in patients with a specific genetic feature called HRD compared to those without it.
