First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tested a new, very precise type of radiation called SABR in 13 adults with cancer that had spread to more than 10 spots in the body. The main goal was to find the safest dose and see if it could be given without causing severe side effects. Researchers also measured quality of life after treatment. This was the first time SABR was studied in people with so many cancer sites.
