First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether special glasses with a dynamic optical film can slow the growth of the eye in children aged 6 to 10 with low hyperopia (farsightedness). 180 children will be split into two groups: one group wears the special glasses, and the other group receives no active treatment. The main goal is to see if the glasses reduce the increase in eye length over 12 months.
