Summary
This study tested whether rutin, a natural compound found in plants, can reduce inflammation and improve symptoms in people with ulcerative colitis. 60 adults with confirmed UC took rutin to see if it could lower disease activity. The goal was to help patients feel better and reduce gut inflammation without strong side effects.
