Summary
This study tested a coordinated approach to help more people in rural Southern Illinois get a colonoscopy after a positive stool test for colon cancer screening. It involved clinics, doctors, and community events working together to improve follow-up care. The goal was to reduce cancer deaths by catching problems earlier, especially in areas with fewer healthcare resources.
