Summary
This study tests a new care plan called 'Rule of THUMB' to help doctors better manage heavy bleeding during and after C-sections. About 2,400 women having C-sections in African hospitals will take part. The plan includes checking bleeding risk, giving medicines, and ensuring follow-up care. The goal is to improve safety and reduce deaths from bleeding.
