First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS can help daily smokers quit. Researchers want to see if offering this treatment in a nicotine addiction clinic is practical and acceptable. About 40 participants will receive daily rTMS sessions for 3 weeks, then weekly sessions for 3 more weeks, while sharing their experiences through surveys and interviews.
