First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study looked at how a brain stimulation technique called rTMS affects blood flow in the brains of people with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Thirty adults with OCD were split into two groups: one received real rTMS and the other a sham (fake) treatment. The main goal was to see if real rTMS changes blood flow in a key brain area linked to OCD, helping researchers understand how the treatment might work.
