Summary

This study tests a procedure called regenerative peripheral nerve interface (RPNI) done during mastectomy with breast reconstruction to prevent long-term nerve pain. About 200 women will be randomly assigned to receive either standard surgery or standard surgery plus RPNI. The goal is to see if RPNI reduces the chance of developing post-breast surgery pain syndrome.
