Direct tumor injection shows promise against skin cancer
NCT ID NCT05858229
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether injecting an experimental therapy called RP1 directly into skin cancer tumors can help shrink or eliminate them before surgery. The trial will enroll 12 patients with treatable squamous cell carcinoma who are already scheduled for tumor removal. Researchers will assess the safety of the injections and measure how much cancer remains in the tissue samples taken during the planned surgery.
