This study tested two drugs—roxadustat and darbepoetin alfa—in 35 adults on hemodialysis with anemia. The goal was to see if roxadustat improves iron levels and reduces the need for extra iron shots. Results could help doctors choose the best treatment to manage anemia in kidney disease.
