Summary
This study tested a drug called Roxadustat to treat anemia in 124 people with diabetic kidney disease (stages 3-4). The main goal was to see if it could raise hemoglobin levels over 24 weeks. Researchers also checked iron levels in the blood. This was a single-arm, open-label study, meaning everyone got the drug and knew they were taking it.
