Summary
This study looked at whether rotigaptide, a drug that helps heart cells communicate, can protect blood vessel function after a temporary blockage of blood flow. Twelve healthy men participated. The goal was to see if the drug could reduce damage that sometimes happens when blood flow is restored to an area that was starved of oxygen.
